At Ur-Alde we know that sometimes the best visits take place inside your room. Our beloved Donostia-San Sebastián double room has no balcony, but believe me when I tell you that the experiences you can have here will transport you straight to La Concha Bay.
It is a double room imbued with the freshness of the sea breeze so typical of our beloved region. It is a sea breeze which smells of home, comfort, relaxation and life itself.
This room is our bit of whimsy at Ur-Alde, which is why we have filled it with light to evoke that wonderful feeling of freedom you get when you walk barefoot on the sand and time seems to stand still. The Donosti room (as we call it) sports silk screen prints of the ornamental Concha Bay railings on both the wardrobe and the shower screen, so you can really feel the city.
There is also a marvellous photograph of the Peine del Viento (Comb of the Wind) sculpture by Chillida. At Ur-Alde we are sure that you will experience something here that you will want to tell all your friends about, both during your stay and every time you remember it.
